  • Membership is for one year and renewals are paid annually.
  • Memberships are available for individuals as well as for groups/organizations.
  • You can create a pre-purchase invoice, if you need one for your internal purposes. Credit card is our only payment option. Check payments are accepted only by special request and CASQA pre-approval.
  • NOTE: CASQA membership does not include BMP Handbook subscriptions, however CASQA members receive a substantial discount on BMP Handbook subscriptions and renewals.

Membership Types

Student

A CASQA Student Membership is available for full-time students in undergrad, master’s, and PhD degree programs. Eligible students are required to submit an application including a copy of their current student I.D.. Upon approval, the applicant will receive an email with a link for online payment of the $50 fee (credit card only).

Regular and Affiliate

Two types of membership are available (Regular and Affiliate) based on if holding a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater permit, or not. Membership is open to individuals and groups (organizations) including:

  • Phase I Stormwater Programs: Areawide stormwater programs, large cities, counties, industries, and the construction industry
  • Phase II Stormwater Programs: Small cities, counties, educational institutions, utilities, and non-traditional entities
  • Others: Professionals and companies specializing in water quality, trade associations, and non-profit interest groups
  • Regular – For NPDES Stormwater Permit Holders
  • Affiliate – Do Not Hold a NPDES Stormwater Permit

    Purchase or Renew a Regular Membership

    This membership is for NPDES Stormwater Permit Holders. Population is based on the most recent estimate of the California Department of Finance. GR is based on Gross California Revenue.

    To renew an active membership or repurchase an expired membership, the Membership Contact must go to My Account > Orders and select the Renew or Repurchase link.

    Purchase or Renew an Affiliate Membership

    This membership is for those who do not hold a NPDES Stormwater Permit. Individual (one person) and group (one organization) memberships are available. Group (organization) membership is based on the organization’s Gross California Revenue (GR).
