CASQA also provides practical and industry leading resources through the Industrial & Commercial BMP Handbook provides guidance to support compliance with the Industrial General Permit (IGP) issued by the State Water Resources Control Board. The handbook includes monitoring guidance, inspection forms, the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) template, the Water Quality Based Corrective Action Report template, Activity-Based Fact Sheets for Source Control BMPs, Specific Commercial Business Category-Based Guide Sheets, and BMP Maintenance Sheets for the Treatment Control BMPs.

In partnership with the California Water Boards, CASQA leads the Industrial General Permit Training Team (IGPTT), a collaborative group comprised of industry experts (e.g., State Water Board, Regional Water Boards, CASQA, industrial consultants, managers, academics, etc.). Through an all-volunteer effort, the IGPTT advises on the development and implementation of the Industrial General Permit Training Program, including qualifications for Trainers of Record and Qualified Industrial Stormwater Professionals (QISPs).
